The situation
The quoting team was busy, but a share of that busyness wasn’t quoting: steps that added nothing, and admin tasks that belonged elsewhere. Every person also built quotes in their own way.
What changed
The process was mapped end to end. Unnecessary steps were removed, manual admin work moved out of the production team into admin operations, and quote generation was standardised with written protocols the teams worked from.
The result
Productivity rose 40% — with no new software at all. It is the first step of every Mechanismo engagement in miniature: fix the process before automating anything.
